Here is Trump’s appeal to stay his sentencing. His argument is that judges aren’t allowed to tell you their sentencing inclination and Merchan said he was inclined to forego jail time. Interestingly, I think would allow him to be sentenced after his term if his appeal fails. Correct me if I’m wrong.
