Hand entwined with hers by the fingers, he looks around like a lost sheep, eyes half lidded in confusion.

His hands went into his hair and he began rubbing his own rocky scalp.

"Gods only know my mistakes. But you still aren't one of them. The best decision of my life..."

His hands went into the taller woman's hair, finger's trying to straighten and pull it away from her face so he can see her clearly.

"You should not have gone alone. You have made mistakes and missteps... But they weren't crimes. Nothing that even needs to be forgiven. Not by me."

He loosened her grip softly, slowly turning around to face her.

"My love... We are a pair of nearly immortal if not likely completely immortal beings. We are adventurers, explorers, and curious by nature."

His own eyes were tearing up. She'd disappeared from Tokyo so suddenly. He'd been trying to track her down for months...

It was really him.

Cold stone skin, the smell of a campfire baked into his linin shirt. He knew her voice, he knew those hands and he entwined their fingers. Even with stone skin he felt her tears and he offered a soft whisper.

"It's alright Inrin, I made it. I've come to take you home."

He tossed the sandwich, the food spinning and catching the sunlight, heading right for her.
