it's also really infuriating just how inaccessible gouache is in my country, there's barely any good brands available $ they're only in sets too and half of them are out of stock... my w&n white is almost out but I can't buy just a tube of white bc no one sells it. not to mention all the fun colors

painting is really hard, there are days when it goes so badly I almost lose motivation but I try reminding myself that I've literally never painted in my life before and I've only been doing it for a week lol what exactly am I expecting

yesterday I tried painting while high, hoping it'd help but I got so confused whenever I mixed colors I ended up spending like 20 minutes on each mixing and wasting a lot of paint 😭 😭 😭 😂

it cant be useful if youre trying to use it for stuff youre not familiar with because then you have no way of knowing if its hallucinating or not and is thus pretty ineffective in every way

tbh i dont think thats entirely untrue, in very specific cases LLMs /can/ be useful, if you use it like journaling, self-reflection, or widening the array of perspective if delving into a specific research topic ur knowledgeable about but u need to have pretty good critical thinking to begin with
