March is a great month for the Canadian boardgaming community - one might even call it "convention season"! This weekend, it was capped off by GOBFest in Edmonton. A few of the FallCon organizers traveled from Calgary to support this sister convention. True to form, I only took pictures of games. πŸ™„

Y'all may know I love boardgames. I'm pleased to report that I might be getting close to cracking the code, unravelling the mysteries, and finding the key to the handdrawn meeple. What could this mean? What artful shenanigans will result?

I stopped by my local art store to try some paints Saskatchewan-based Stoneground Paint Co.
Titanium buff and Indanthrone Blue came home with me. Made a quick doodle with some of their pearlescent Prairie Gold that I had previously snagged. Texture and pigmentation are a dream.
Art helps.
