Continuation of the previous drawings, still inspired by the Princess Mononoke movie, Madeleine steps back, looking utterly gobsmacked even in all his radiance with four angelic wings and an halo glowing on his back. His blade is glowing as well. Even so, the shock from the other’s words is so much so that his wings (both organic on his head and light magic conjured on his back) are ruffled up. He’s still holding his sword with one hand but the other is risen up to his chest. In the front there’s Butter Roll’s hand, risen up in a relaxed gesture almost like he’s inviting the other to hold hands. Dialogue goes Madeleine: WHAT?! Butter Roll: Are you free after this?

"Assist Man" is a fan-made megaman character with armor colored to look like a tuxedo and a teal-colored vacuum hose for a right arm. text: "general-purpose custodial robot with over 200 interchangeable tool arms. polite and dutiful by design, he is able to perform a variety of tasks to assist humans however necessary. 'is there anything I can help you with?'"

this was my guy for the megaman design contest, Assist Man! the design was required to have a vacuum hose for their right arm, so I made a little custodian guy with a little cummerbund. good luck to everyone in the top 20!

"Senpai!" Freeze Man says, as he rests his head on of Ice's and places his hands on his shoulders. "Hi, Freeze" replies Ice Man as he looks up at Freeze. (I told you don't have to be formal with me)

"Come & take a break so we can cuddle a little bit, pretty please?" says Freeze as he nuzzles and rubs his face on top of Ice's head. "Well... Since you asked nicely... then yes." replies Ice.

"Well let's go then!" says Freeze as he picks up Ice in his arms, Ice is seen to be a bit surprised.

when I was in college, a part of our university's graduation requirements had a community service component that they called service learning. one of my service learning classes involved work at a local homerless community center, helping people write resumes and cleaning bathrooms. our instructor told us to expect to see the bathrooms trashed a lot - like you will clean the bathroom and immediately someone will wreck it.

and it's not because they disrespect your work or don't value having access to clean bathrooms or whatever, but because of control. when you feel like you have no control over your life or your environment, your brain is going to want to assert control however it can. which results in thrashed bathrooms. it's control exercised over one small part of your environment that you still have the power to affect.

i see kids on tumblr using the language of social justice as cudgels on people who actually do care about and listen to them. or holding the creators within their own communities to an impossibly high standard that they never apply to mainstream media properties.

i just see thrashed bathrooms. 'These are the people my voice actually reach,' they rationalize, 'so these are the people I'll hurt'. but the guiding principles of social justice are aimed at correcting and dismantling systems. stop using them to dismantle people.
