If I ever have to defend a character I think it would be 鄭墨陽. Some readers hate on him and call him disgusting just because he sugar daddies (is this even a verb) a few people when he has memory loss even tho he has found his “true love” when the author did tag 攻不潔.

It still shocks me that whenever people go hotpot they actually drink the soup. Like tomato soup, fine. But some people even drink the szechuan beef tallow spicy base that kind. Aren’t you not supposed to drink it because it’s too spicy oily and salty?

Shout out to the characters I liked in 世界之主 including mc’s first 3 馬甲, mc’s knight guy, the snake mc rescued, mc’s parents, the crazy maybe guke brothers, mc’s mentor (but in the past), sun god, the dragon, mc’s “blood” family, the crazy mechanic guy, that’s all I remember off the top of my head

re 幕後黑手. Sometimes I get bored because it’s other characters that I don’t care about that are going to the fuben instead of mc. But mc is great. And I also really liked the “if the dead people were alive” extra it’s so cute

no one asked but here’s some nocp 馬甲文 I finished lol
- 人間降維 (shitty ending. but 爽)
- 我不是幕后黑手 (cute and fun).
- 靠著馬甲成為世界之主 (decent story with weight to it. gets a bit draggy by the ending but has good characters including the 馬甲 and side characters.

I can’t be the only one who got spoiled so here’s the (minor) spoiler: apparently he has more than one 马甲. And they’re going to interact. Like I kinda knew that was the point of 马甲文. But did I want to know that instead of when it happens in the novel? No!

I think the reason why I enjoyed this novel so much despite the “love at first sight soulmate” thing is just how they are opposites which leads to a lot of stimulating banter. Always happy to read something that gets my brain thinking

more more thoughts: I still find it so funny when 鄭諾陽 says that he wants kids through adoption and he says “why would I want my psychopathic genes in any of my children” and everyone is shocked by him saying that. at least he has 自知之明 unlike so many non psychopaths parents lol

I think its pretty good so far! the worldbuilding is a lot (in a good way but a bit overwhelming at times), but the SOL-ish style helps. I can easily put it down and pick it back up again without having to backtrack

more thoughts: I quite appreciate how much difference they have in values and still manage to get together through compromise. You can see how they argue but still make up in 關鍵期假設

Oh god this is probably going to go in my top 5 novels this year or sth considering how much I think about it

someone give me courage to start 詭祕之主, if I can get through a 4M novel this year I can get through another one... right?
