my ironclad stats... this game is HARD

Feed and reaper also allowed me to take coffee dripper + tank hits to play demon form and get healed back to full. Winning this run reminds me of why I love this game so much… now to get A20 on other characters and beat A20H on ironclad also!

STS: finally beat A20 Ironclad with a wacky feel no pain + strength build of all things. I did get apotheosis in act one shop and a demon form through the matching game in act one so I shouldn’t be that surprised. tbh I think this deck could have beat the heart so happy aaaaaaa

I think the difference between STS (to some extent Slice and Dice）and other games is that when I lose, I think it’s a skill issue, while for other roguelikes like Luck be a Landlord, when I lose I feel like it’s a luck issue

Bc of the reddit memes, I kept overthinking whether or not i should take hyperbeam on my current floor 1 apotheosis defect run but I’m glad I did. It’s a great aoe option in act 1 and 2

my first win in STS using relic swap with busted crown of all things. this was Defect A12 and because I had so much energy I could just spam block cards and buffer and somehow still beat awakened one... thank you runic pyramid

finally beat A19 Ironclad in STS... it took 2 months omg 😭 tbh I did SL a couple of times but at least I know that I'm not too bad at this game

finally beat slice and dice on unfair. cataclysm with 2 healers + jester cat is extremely op, I just have to wait until the 7th turn where everyone dies and its a free win

Managed to get blasphemy as a neow's bonus and finally beat A5 watcher with Scrawl. Really fun run, but I hate that she forces me to do math. she feels so different from other characters

but it was a really fun run with boss swap, snecko, evolve and firebreathing! I probably would have won if I drew feel no pain turn one

I think I’m a bit burnt out for STS bc I keep losing and have zero progress in A19 ironclad. Maybe I should stop trying to beat that for a while, but thankfully, I have slice and dice to satisfy that urge to play strategy roguelikes in the meantime (am trying to beat classic unfair)

finally won a run with A11 defect in STS, although I admit I miscalculated and had to reload against time eater. was struggling a bit until I bought mummified hand at the shop (should be a rare relic tbh). glad I'm at least making some progress in getting all characters to A20 before STS2
