House GOP added a provision to their tax cut package authorizing sales of vast public lands in NV and UT which could lead to drilling, mining & logging in sensitive areas.

Royalty rates paid by companies to extract oil, gas and coal would also be cut, reversing attempts to curb fossil fuels.
