yes, i've been able to play this game for 3 consecutive days on my laptop for about 4-5 hours per day since i have work lol and need to use my laptop to work

somehow i've been able to play Dragon's Dogma 2 on my old laptop with a GPU that's below minimum requirements on an HDD.

my verdict? THE GAME IS FUCKING AWESOME ⚔ i'll take a break from it so as to not strain my laptop anymore. i'll post some screenshots at a later time lmao

Finally finished Lord of the RIngs: War in the North. Pretty fun game that respects Tolkien's lore. Hack and slash mindless fun but tedious troll fights. It had a memorable RPG moment for me, overall i liked it. 7/10.

a really good prequel with an interesting and unique cover system only seen in this game. the story is surprisingly good and it makes the original game's story even better imo

This game deserves a remake because it has good ideas. I would like it if Hideaki Itsuno were to make a Lord of the Rings action-rpg since that would be badass. Picture this: open-world, action combat from Dragon's Dogma 2 + Sekiro's timed blocks to clash blades with your opponents to either engage them defensively or keep the pressure on by doing a counter to quickly turn the tables or just fill their posture bar to kill them lol, class variety and flexibility, diverse collection of loot, equipment from the movies and books, faithful lore taken straight out of Tolkien's works, character creation, choices with consequences, other activities like fishing, farming, gardening, barkeeping, blacksmithing, being a mercenary, joining factions like the Rohirrim, etc. instant GOTY material right there.

in this day and age where remakes, remasters, etc. are popular, there are games that deserve it, games that don't need it, and games that don't deserve it. here is one game that i think would benefit greatly from a remake that is lore-faithful and has upgraded gameplay.
