17.09.2025 09:57 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I misidentified one that was written as AI as human-written, and got the rest right. The results page is interesting and concerning.
02.09.2025 09:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0i think theres also a tendency among people who have come across a lot of scammers (or perceived scammers) recently to come down quickly and hard on anyone they assume is scamming, out of frustration or fatigue. ive seen this a lot in discord servers
12.08.2025 11:56 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0i feel like if the colours were different people might say whimsigoth, i feel like words like patchwork and froufrou might also help if youโre looking for more of the same? maybe you will have to invent a word !
09.07.2025 14:10 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0i saw the message before it was gone and was going to drop in a reply about Stone Telling from Always Coming Home, but when i had a moment to respond it had already disappeared! i donโt think you embarrassed yourself with it at all but i get it if it was more than felt good to share at that time

28.06.2025 13:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0the expanded edition from Library of America has extra content, but is also more expensive than other versions. the original is complete on its own and doesnt feel like anything is missing in my opinion.

22.06.2025 13:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0iโve been reviewing everything i read since i started tracking my reading in 2024, about 70 books so far. iโm an honest reviewer but i like most of what i read so my avg. rating is about 3.7 stars.
i have friends who get ARCs using netgalley, but i havenโt tried that yet!
i just wish the โokay ๐ yay ๐โ came a little easier ๐

toki pona feed i want to know something:
when you are writing a sentence with la and you use a comma, where do you put it?
1) ijo wan, la ijo tu
2) ijo wan la, ijo tu
3) ijo wan, la, ijo tu
4) i never use a comma with la
and if u want to tell me, i want to know why you do it that way!
iโm reading Always Coming Home by Ursula K. Le Guin again and it just overwhelms me with feeling every time i pick it up. i have to mete it out in small portions to be able to bear it. i love the book so much
14.06.2025 02:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0i think about it as having two uses, the if/then structure and then just as the context particle. [ijo wan] la [ijo tu], in the context of thing one, thing two exists/happens/is true (this kind of works with the โas forโ phrasing). tomo ni la sinpin li loje - as for this building, the walls are red.
13.06.2025 16:13 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0ask your mother (if youre asking for information) could be โmama sina li sona e niโ or โmama sina o toki e ni tawa sinaโ or something like this. bc in english its implying she knows, so she could tell you. or if its asking for permission for something, โo toki e ni tawa mama sinaโ
12.06.2025 01:57 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0i think โmoku suwi mute pi kasi tasoโ is better otherwise โmuteโ falls into the pi phrase! โi want a lot of sweet plant-only foodโ is how i would translate this, whereas yours reads more like โi want many-sole-plants sweet food!โ
07.06.2025 18:19 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0took me a while to get to grips with when to use e too! reading toki pona helped it start to feel pretty natural, maybe theres something on lipu.pona.la that might be fun to check out and potentially try and translate
05.06.2025 21:18 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0mi pana olin tawa sina is probably meant to be mi pana *e* olin tawa sina, and when you modify mi (like with mi mute) you need a li after it in sentences like mi mute li pona. i didnt read all of it but thats what caught my eye :) i also like to toki pona when iโm stressed out!

31.05.2025 18:32 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0its totally up to you, according to your preference. based on my observation people tend to prefer content words over particles. i write mine as jan(ijo wile ijo) which has the added benefit of looking like an owo, which is silly and fun
