I will forever be delighted by the day I was the anaesthetist for a stroke thrombectomy. The interventional radiologist was one digit below me on the GMC register and the stroke physician one digit above on the GMC register!! Med school buddies all doing the same case! It will never happen again.

It's even worse because there's plenty of use of the feedback section in evaluations for airing grievances, beefs, etc that they didn't the courage or the decency to say to people in person.

Sometimes you get feedback opposites e.g. too confident/under confident!

I know of many people whose ongoing success proves those words wrong. Being told 'you will never', 'you are not suited' and so on - then doing exactly what they've been told they can't. Inspiring, yet exhausting.

Words written anonymously in MSFs, MTRs and other feedback mechanisms especially to resident doctors can cause months, sometimes years of harm. I've provided pastoral support to many literally wounded by harsh negative words without comeback. Resident doctors (and others) are humans with feelings...

Do ‘No’ people know the are no people? What is it that drives the ‘no person’? No people can stifle innovation & hold things back. I wonder if they realise what would happen if the said yes or maybe.
