i think people forget that estinien is very much "wol is my ride or die" even if he's not explicit about it the same way some npcs are very much "i love da wol" his style of affection (platonic or otherwise) is like a cat when they bring you a dead rat and be like "i killed this for you it's a gift"

aymeric's approach to his faith is always so fascinating to me

i think as a lesbian writing a lesbian character it does suck to me just how often women charas in 14 get killed or written off or the like and i know people will say to just like. rewrite it or what not but god forbid i want my favorite game to approach women differently without me rewriting it <\3

This touches on one of my favorite things about ShB - that Emet-Selch, the Exarch, AND THANCRED are all foils of the same "I lost something irreplaceable and am confronted with the horrors it would take to get it back" concept

But only Thancred changes himself instead of trying to change the loss.
