so my local gym is sponsored by xyobmot they give me free sticky-dog-paw medicine in exchange for promoting them on my climbs

im about 1 month into dog-paw remedy nd i can go up the wall with wayy less effort now!!! only downside is i cant open my phone anymore...

5 months in2 climbing thoughts:
- pretty sure im around v4 average
- flashing a few v3-v5s is my greatest feat so far
- only hurt myself falling once
- the fear-factor is the best part
- focused on heel/toe hooks, balance moves, nd tension-boarding
- i feel really good about my body wowow >.<!!

i think i need to be more honest about what makes me uncomfortable nd vice-versa. ive gotten too good at jadedly-judging people posthaste, but it just leaves me feeling like such a big asshole every time.

if i spoke a little more honestly, id respect myself a lot more too…

intuitive answer is that friends dont meditatively harm you, and that “indirect harm” only comes from a lack of properly communicating boundaries…

the true correct answer is that once you start setting boundaries that make you comfortable, i bet all your friendships start feeling more stable too..

sometimes when im up at night i think to myself that i’d rather have a stable enemy than an unstable friend— since you can plan your life around a stable enemy, but your plans with an unstable friend will never be a fully credible.

i feel like im missing a bigger picture here and idrk why
