I would enjoy seeing the Weatherlight crew or the gladiators of Otaria playing an in-world TCG as a subtle wink.
I don’t like seeing real world cartoon characters playing real MTG on an MTG card.

I opened Serra Angels from packs in the 90s. I read every MTG novel as they were released. This world is something I’ve loved almost as long as I can remember.

Seeing teenage mutant ninja turtles play Magic cards on a Magic card isn’t cute to me. It’s immersion-shattering meta slop.

I can't tell you how much more I appreciate Magic as a whole since I started playing 1v1 formats more frequently.

Multiplayer games are fun, but in many ways it's the difference between playing Settlers of Catan and playing Chess.

Both great games, but they are fundamentally different experiences.

I don’t have many thoughts on commander anymore, but “ban Thassa’s Oracle” has always felt like foolish cause that would improve the experience of nobody at any bracket level.
