I’ve seen a piece claiming the revulsion at Hendrikse is “manufactured” and somehow about Ireland v. SA.

Lads, if you think Munster fans’ concern is Ireland, you know nothing about NH rugby; and if you’re uncomfortable with being the bad guys, maybe don’t have players and staff doing bad things.

I guess the writer's world view is such that it can't have been a genuine act of sportsmanship. From one of the most professional players to have played the game.
