Dramatic low level flying bomber footage (1943)
This is a hell of a thing. A terrifyingly low level attack on a power station near Paris in 1943 by Free French crew flying RAF Bostons (the British A-20 Havoc bomber variant). The A-20 was not the most agile aircraft ever, so this kind of flying under radar is a real feat.

The “I have more medals” and “I’ve seen more combat than you” MAGA bro responses to Mark Kelly’s post most are the most pathetically hilarious things on social media today, aside from Candace Owens claiming that Macron ordered a hit on her by French legionnaires.

Parboil; sauté in the oil from some rendered chorizo with the chorizo, some almonds, dash of soy, good squeeze of lemon juice.

Former Greek PM Tsipras savages ‘celebrity’ ex-finance minister Varoufakis in memoir
Alexis Tsipras says that during debt crisis Yanis Varoufakis was more interested in promoting his books
massive LOL: "Yanis Varoufakis, the firebrand economist who rose to fame at the height of Greece’s debt drama, was not only egotistical but ultimately more interested in testing out his game theories on the nation than winning its battle to keep afloat." www.theguardian.com/world/2025/n...

Rather better than five out of every six officers became a casualty.

When you see a professor of journalism directed to the portion of a judgment that shows their take is wrong, yet they decide instead to persist with the take because they know better, you understand why American journalism is as it is. Comment is sacred, facts are free.

I just want people to read the judgments. I just want them to read them before having takes.

The Courts go to an awful lot of effort in a load of jurisdictions to make sure that it is easy to read the reasons for the decisions of Courts, and the evidential basis for such, almost immediately.
There's no excuse not to read what the Courts actually say before giving out about the Courts.

See, if I see you complaining that someone is described as something *which a judgment says they self-decribe as*, then you are just telling me you haven't bothered to read the judgment before sounding off on it.
And, yes, I very much will judge the quality of your opinions from that fact.

For a given value of Border. The precise location of it isn’t settled, there.
Which, having sailed events there, raises some interesting questions about who has jurisdiction over any collisions.
