I'm fairly new to academic tech, having been in commercial for 20 something years. Its not an unusual atmosphere for a tech conference (although less salesy than most). Because tech is always evolving and transforming, its a useful method for sharing development and futures.

Lots of talk at #Digifest25 about AI but little challenge around the realities- it’s the big tech thing, but I feel like we’re really in, or approaching a trough of disillusionment. How does the education sector navigate its way through this.
