Enjoyed a great day in Hamburg yesterday! We took advantage of the weather to knock doors, and then headed to Alchemy Wine & Beer for Holly Park’s re-election fundraiser. I deeply appreciate Holly’s leadership and voice as a Village Trustee—vote in the Trustee election on 3/18!

When my campaign talks about safe and stable housing, we mean EVERYONE - both tenants and homeowners. Building more housing benefits everyone, as well as our communities, but we must also have protections in place so that the problems we already face are not simply repeated.

I attended the Village of Hamburg's community update meeting earlier & met some great people doing hands-on work to improve the area. I also saw this board, which shows that no matter where you live in District 149, there isn't enough housing - and what we have isn't affordable.

If this whole fiasco doesn't convince everyone that sports teams should be owned publicly/communally by the fans, I don't know what will.

Busy morning! First, I had the honor of speaking to UAW Local 897, before heading up to @wbenbuffalo.bsky.social for a great conversation with Tom Puckett on Hardline.

This morning at 11:00am, I will be joining Tom Puckett on @WBEN to talk about our race and our campaign, and what we plan to achieve for the working people of the 149th District. Please tune in!

Like you, I was horrified to learn that federal immigration agents brutalized and murdered yet another person in Minneapolis. My thoughts and condolences are with Alex Pretti's loved ones, and with all those who have experienced CBP and ICE's violence, which happens DAILY. What we witness on camera or in person is just a glimpse. We must not mince words: Abolishing ICE is the compromise position.

While the federal government effectively celebrates another extrajudicial killing, New York must lead with conviction and show meaningful resistance to these agencies, instead of mere lip service. New York State legislators MUST pass the NY For All Act now. Legislators must also commit to supporting prosecution of federal agents who violate the civil and human rights of New Yorkers. This is the LEAST we can do to support the incredible resistance from everyday people everywhere standing up to CBP, DHS, and ICE.

Abolish ICE.
Protect our communities.
Demand NY4All.
