I've probably said it a million times, but the fact that The Killers decided to follow up the monumental success of Hot Fuss with a brilliant, very different album like Sam's Town was a ballsy move.

It's aged like a fine wine - at the time Brandon seemed mad with his hype but he wasn't wrong.

Honestly I didn't realise just how much I hate DIY until I got a house.

The correlation of how bad I am at DIY is a total coincidence, obviously.

Finally finished Stella on Now TV tonight. It was proper lush, presh.

Heretic is definitely not the type of film I'd usually watch but it was so good. Still very much here for the choice of films Hugh Grant continues to master in recent years.

We've been watching Stella for the first time, and about half way through - love it so far. I need to just say that Scott Quinnell is the funniest thing I did not expect to come out of watching this!

Gosh, 11:21 on Wet Leg's new album is absolutely stunning. Completely out of the norm to their usual sound - honestly not a huge fan usually (no shade, just not my thing) but this is lovely. Really gives Rhian's voice some space to work with.

It's a shame really as I would have enjoyed it a lot more away from that shallowness.

The title card intro and the "He's flying" scenes though - absolute cinema. Those areas are what Joseph Kosinski does so well in his films.

I really enjoyed the F1 aspects of the F1 movie which is a nice surprise (just expected it to be a cringe) but my god, it did the impression of women in the sport really dirty. Either clumsy, clever but never mind there's an attractive man nearby. Okay.
