6 inch tall brown frilly mushrooms? Variated light tan to reddish brown and lighter colored stem that is hollow. In various stages of life cycle.

Our fav place to hike /run. Oct 2022 A logging road with few inches of snow. Quiet serene white forest and ground up hyway 542 Mt Baker Wa. area.

Same area just heavy Fall colors. Green woods covered in yellow and rust colored leaves. Happy dogs! Me too!
