Creative control is extremely important to me. My stories touch on darker themes with mature characters and typically "redemption" type arcs, and its very important to me that those subjects are treated with the proper time and respect.

8. Your dreams or goals

To finish Pravus and Sebastian's comics completely within my lifetime. Those are the biggest ones. From there....if I can have an animated series or movie (even game?) about either, with a significant seat at the table in the writing aspect, I'd rest easy.

He learned very quickly that thin technology rectangles and sheets of paper contained information-- and that information can either be used for or against him. He makes every effort to ensure it's the former in an attempt to not be caught off guard.

6. What kind of books does Pravus read?

As many as he gets his hands on, but he doesn't read for pleasure. He reads to learn as a matter of survival. Any book he comes across on Earth has the potential to teach him something new about the language, the people, or even technology available to him.

5. Do you write in the morning, afternoon or evening?

Evening/ often late at night. My sleep schedule is one of the bigger things I'm trying to fix 😅

That and on lunch break at work. They'll start bickering amongst themselves at the least convenient times and I have to scramble to record it, lol

This was me, too! ❤️ I started drawing originally because i wanted to physically see my characters. Fanart helped me improve and experiment, and fancomics helped me realize comic making wasn't just marvel or dc. Eventually i shifted from novels to comics for my characters haha

I posted it before, but! Its the closest I think I've gotten for a cover. Haven't decided if I want to keep it or keep trying with different iterations haha

Panel 2: Pravus contemplates, as Sebastian keeps his hand held out.

Panel 3: Pravus shakes Seb's hand.

Panel 4: Sebastian suddenly pulls Pravus's arm downward so that Pravus is leaned closer to Sebastian. Theyre at eye level now and Pravus’s eyes have gone wide. Sebastian is grinning. "It's gonna be me."

So I'm working on a short animatic for Sebastian (on the right) and....

Very curious about this because it feels like my style has changed a lot over time 😅

Panel 1: Well, y'know what they say....if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough..." [A cowboy with swept back dark brown hair and strange markings along his arms and chest is speaking. He's waving off the comment in subdued jest.] Panel 2: "I only seem tough because there ain't a third option." [His expression falls to something somewhat deadpan and resigned.]

Been a while since I drew my demon cowboy, Sebastian, but I was scripting something that included him doing something wildly dumb and this was his response to me about it. I wheeze laughed about it for the entire 15 minute drive home so it had to be realized 😂

Though I shouldn't be so mean to him. Not even a day on this planet probably and he's already catching hands for Pravus’s sake.

Page 6, Panel 1: The larger man punches the figure in the chair. Page 6, Panel 2: “Not so tough now, huh!?” The figure’s expression falters and winces, with beads of sweat running down his face. Page 6, Panel 3: The large man throws a punch again. Page 6, Panel 3: With a swift fwump, he and his arm are pinned to the ground by an unseen force.

Page 7, Panel 1: “What…” The larger man looks up at the figure as the entire room is suddenly rattling. A light pops, and the walls and floors are seemingly cracking under pressure.

Page 8, Panel 1: The walls are crunching in on itself, and debris is falling from the ceiling. Page 8, Panel 2: The window panes in the background are cracking, and the couches and tables look as if they are being pressed downward by an unseen force. Page 8, Panel 3: The blonde looks up at the ceiling as the rattling is intensifying and chunks are falling. The chandelier lights have popped, and the structure of the room is beginning to bend.’ Page 8, Panel 4: From outside the house, the windows shatter with a BOOM. Car alarms can be heard from a distance.

Page 9, Panel 1: “What the he–” “Oh FUCK this!!!” The blond shouts, running as the room is collapsing. The larger man is able to get up. Page 9, Panel 2: The two men are running out the door. Page 9, Panel 3: A close up of the figure as debris falls around him, eyes still closed. Page 9, Panel 4: A close up of the figure’s hands and the restraints. The restraints are being pulled against the armrests, stretching away from his wrists and chest. Page 9, Panel 4: With a snap, the restraints break upwards and away from him.

Page 2, Panel 1: “Found him passed out in an alley. Guess he ain’t as smart as people say.” The larger man says as the two tower over the figure in the foreground. Page 2, Panel 2: “I’ve heard he’s a slippery son of a bitch. Make sure those restraints are tight.” The blonde says, pointing at the other as they are tying the figure’s arms to the chair.

Page 3, Panel 1: “What the hell is he wearing…” “Found him like this. Why do you care?” says the larger man as he continues wrapping restraints around the arms of the chair. Page 3, Panel 2: “Just…you sure it’s him?” The blonde says, squinting with skepticism. Page 3, Panel 3: “Take off the bag if you don’t believe me” the larger man waves it off as he’s tying around the figure’s chest.

Page 4, Panel 1: The blonde reaches toward the bag hesitantly. Page 4, Panel 2: He pulls at the bag. Page 4, Panel 3: The figure sits in the chair, eyes closed. He’s wearing a white outfit with grey striping and some kind of tag, almost like an identification card, on the right side of his chest. In almost every physical quality beyond perhaps being a little more thin, it looks like Pravus. “Holy shit…”

Page 5, Panel 1: “Every gang and cop is looking for this guy and you just pluck him out of a random alley? Something doesn’t add up.” “Doesn’t have to. He slipped up, I don’t give a shit how. He’s gonna pay for killing Ronnie.” The larger man yells, pointing at the figure. Page 5, Panel 2: “Reward money wants him alive, y’know.” “There ain’t enough money in the world worth killing this bastard with my own two hands.”
