Increased instability because of climate change is going to put all of this on a whole new level.

Listened to 10 mins yesterday, it really sounds fun.

For me it was The Alters. Super interesting premise but then people pointed out that AI slop was used so I refunded it. Which is really a shame but you have to draw the line somewhere.

Your game sells bad: You are fired. Your game sells extremely well? You are fired. Game studios are not a place of institutional knowledge anymore where skills are honed and perfected by long term employees. They are now just names you slap on any group of recently employed people.

It's the same with beauty standards straight men come up with that allegedly will "get them a girl". Na Bro, most women do not care that much. You are lifting for other guys like you, who spend most of their time on social media watching guys flexing in underwear.

Absolutely. The funny thing is, there are plenty of horror movies that cater to this kind of classic loving audience (any Top 20 list for horror movies of 2025/2024/2023 will show). And yet people love to claim that allegorical horror is "taking over"

I am sure that everyone will make an exception when it comes to "Wuthering Heights" ... or rather anything by Emerald Fennell.

We are at a point where complaining about arthouse horror has become a genre of content by itself. And it won't be constrained by reality. Seriously, I always see people complaining that *all* movies of the last years are just arthouse and that the trend needs to be stopped 🫠

I can totally see why you fell in love, it's so good. Also, I love what you did with it. Been into photography as a hobbyist for some years, hence me asking. Sorry for nerding out ;)

Love the cover art, its so clean and moody. May I ask if it was stock art?

A single panel comic with two mirrored kingdoms facing each other, "our noble religion vs their primitive superstitions", "our brave adventurers vs their savage raiders", etc.

It's always bad when others do it. China limiting access to their market? That's communist dictatorship. USA forcing foreign companies to be sold to US oligarchs? That's the free market being protected.

30 years ago these people wouldn't last 10 seconds in the airport novel business. While they were sweating about an idea, a 50 year old bodice ripper writer would have written 2 books between ironing the bed linen and making pie for the grand kids.

The skyline looks pretty in general (of which that one building is only a part)

I also remember when protesting while openly carrying guns was deemed a reasonable response to Drag Show Story Hour.

What a coincidence, I put it on my watchlist this morning. The texture is really noticeable in the trailer.

It's truly shocking how much of what humans do is just vibes based. And the vibes are always stupid or rancid.

We need a comic like this but for movies made to be clip fodder on social media.

The tragedy I see is that the only alternative the Democrats offer is Conservatism lite. There is no real political path to true reforms.

Walk Invisible still had the best Emily Bronte imho. Gruff, abrasive, constantly annoyed with a tinge of dour. Except when she shared the hot gossip on some people in the parish and all the drama. There she was totally and deliciously involved.

Can't wait. Tabitha reminds me so much of my sister (although my sister is a much, much better host 🀣).

I am super, super curious what Screen Burn did with the Silent Hill Formula. For some reason the little pocket TV feels so on brand for them already. Oh, and shoutout to Kezia Burrows, she was already amazing in Observation.

Let me shoot back. You might want to look into a game called "Forever Winter". Very indie, very much early access but goddamn the vibes are immaculate. Might be very up your alley.

Totally agree. I heard about the use of AI before starting to play so I was able to refund it which is a damn shame. But as a consumer you have to draw the line somewhere.

Gamble is really the right term here. I have seen so many amazing indie games that were forgotten not a month after release. It's truly heartbreaking. To say nothing about gamer culture where spending 50 bucks for a cosmetic is a-ok but shelling 20 bucks for a bold indie title is out of bounds.
