Airbnb keeps referencing Amazon as the inspiration for their 'everything' app but they should have developed their own cleaning service as Amazon built their own delivery to drive down costs. Every Airbnb requires cleaning like most Amazon purchases require shipping.

Figma is great for speed and collaboration, but specialized tools gives you depth. And depth is where the weird, wonderful ideas live.

I don't think an “all-in-one” tool like what Figma is trying to become is actually good for designers. We should be reaching for specialized tools like Illustrator or Rive if we want to maintain and grow our creative dexterity.

I tried to design a better interaction for this Google Maps reminder, but now I've changed my mind and respect the simplicity of this. What I designed is overkill, especially for such a small feature. In the meantime, me and the rotate tool are now besties.

Bless the dev's at @atlassian.bsky.social that made this awesome drag and drop library. It made prototyping multi-level lists a breeze (next.js react).
