Going to a protest but not planning for arrest? Write the NLG number on your arm in sharpie. Leabe your phone at home. Tell a friend (not via sms!) where you are and when you'll be home. Follow the instructions you hear from marshals in yellow vests.

(2) planning to get arrested, as this coalition certainly was? Tell your friends. Set up pet/child care. Organize legal observers and jail support. Have a printed copy of your prescriptions and a friend with a key to your house. Bonus: wear shoes without laces and pants without a belt.
