Plus with Criterion, Shout Factory, Kino Lorber...they tend to have commentary tracks and extras that are so cool. Nothing like owning movies on blu ray. Plus it's such a privilege to have all these glorious films in your personal collection. I've currently got on Criterion's release of "Walker"

Because if you care about securely owning a movie that you love--as opposed to "owning" it only until a license agreement over which you have no control expires without warning--you need a DVD or Blu-ray. The hardware may be yesterday; the concern is very much of this moment.

Then I discovered it has one of my personal grail movies, a widescreen print of The Dragon Lives Again. I am so happy! 🥹

Got my @severinfilms.bsky.social package today, and made the discovery that, while I thought I ordered the documentary Enter the Clones of Bruce, I instead somehow ordered the Game of Clones box set, and this is the greatest mistake I ever made. This is the best Christmas ever. 🤪
