Surviving capitalism is an act of creativity.

Navigating microaggressions, making ends meet, and building systems of care & support where there are none all require a type of creativity we don't even acknowledge.

Along this line, being a "morning person" only matters if you subscribe to the structuring of a traditional 40-hour, 9-5 work week. Otherwise, give yourself the freedom to work with, not against, your body's natural rhythms and be productive whenever feels good to you.

“Full time” is a social construct.

40 hours a week is an arbitrary number and not actually representative of any kind of success, productivity, or status.

The sooner we understand this, the sooner we can start building true work-life balance.
