A month later they have finally come out and dug the hole for a new power pole behind the house (to replace the one that’s there) so they can add a second transformer.

You could have just changed the jewelry instead of taking it out. That’s not rocket science.

Ok but really, I’m still living the injury life (4 days short of) 9 months post ankle injury. What is this shit? I’ve broken my spine & not had it go on this long.
But a sprained ankle where the only tendon or ligament I didn’t do any damage to was my Achilles and 9 broken bones? Death, apparently.

It was homecoming week for us, but it was a bunch of weird theme days (could have had a “dress like a dead president day” alas)(every school in the district was named for them) but homecoming also was always a girls soccer away game, so I never cared bc I never got to go.

We did it when I was in high school, but not before. (And it wasn’t widely participated in)

ELECTION RESULT from Alabama: Paul Prine, the former police chief of Mobile who was fired last year while facing a damning report about his department’s use of force against Black residents, has lost the mayoral race.

He came in third, and will not move forward to the September runoff.
