Apparently it's Huernia aka the lifesaver cactus plant. I have been wanting it for a while. It also has rotten meat scent for the flies. Yes. I burn incense everyday in my office. So hopefully it looks pretty and doesn't smell so bad. ๐Ÿคฃ

The impact of nematode inoculation on classical plant performance indicators. Imagine a pathogen that reproduces 5-6 times in a growing season. Resistance curbs it's growth from 5 to 3 units per turn. It's not statistically signif by any fancy stats. Considering exponential growth of the pathogen, it may be significant. So, what is your research question, Indeed?

Wild-type (WT) strains of Caenorhabditis elegans have a smooth body wall and they crawl in a sinusoidal-like pattern, whereas Rolling (Rol) mutants twist their body like a corkscrew and usually remain in the same region, moving in a nearly circular pattern.

Red imported fire ants are named for their ability to inflict painful bites/stings. Fire ant mounds appear as disturbed soil. Tunnels below the mounds can extend up to 30 meters & may hold up to 500,000 ants. Mounds can reach 24 inches in height such as this one centered on a dead soybean plant ๐Ÿงช
