A huge group of people are in a giant hole in the middle of a rolling field. There is a large sign with an arrow pointing to the hole that says "HOLE." So, in the last two hours, I found a Canon G7X Mark II for $300 USD at a thrift shop. Tested it, works, used my old man discount, mine for $270.

Yeah, that would be it, at least temporarily. My local shop *had* a used Nikon Z5 for a fair price, and I thought about upgrading to full frame and also using it to scan, but now just not sure. 🤷‍♂️
