Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt on a six-year contract. As previously reported, the deal is worth an initial £69m with a further £10m in add-ons. The player will now fly out to Hong Kong to join his new teammates.

More detail on Hugo Ekitike's move: The player is expected to arrive in the UK on Tuesday to complete a medical and sign a six-year contract. Plan is for him to then fly out to Asia later in the week to join Liverpool's pre-season tour.

Liverpool have now reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for striker Hugo Ekitike. Fee is £69m up front with a further £10m in add-ons based on club/player success.
