Kelly will serve 3 life sentences plus more than 200 additional years.

Yesterday, I was joined by law enforcement to announce that a 3-judge panel ruled in favor of our officeโs efforts to fight illegal gambling devices.
Since summer of 2022, we have seized more than 268 machines, $1 million in cash, and found ties to firearms and suspected money laundering.
Here are some more thoughts about jury duty. Some people donโt mind so much showing up, but they donโt want to be seated.
We often see jury selection depicted in media where a person expresses some issue with serving, and theyโre dismissed.
But in reality, itโs not that easy.

Monday, June 23rd, the Shelby County Commission will vote on funding for a focused crime lab in Shelby County.
We need your help.
Please email your county commissioner and respectfully ask them to fund the lab so we can increase the solve rate of crimes and hold offenders accountable.
Two legal terms you are probably hearing more often are "Due Process" and "Habeas Corpus."
These are foundational principles in the law that cannot be ignored. A failure to provide it has the potential to deny an innocent person their freedom or allow a guilty person to go free.
