Thanks to Birgün Newspaper for my back-to-work news! I won my legal battle at the Upper Administrative Court against Ankara University and I am again lecturer in human rights at the Faculty of Political Science. I will also teach ableism in my classes.

+The surgeon I saw yesterday was a graduate of Ankara University too. He knew my undergraduate lecturers from the 1980s. I have learned so much about my condition that he told me they will send me back to Ankara with a honorary medical degree 🤓

I won my legal battle against my dismissal decision from my post at Ankara University Faculty of Political Science. In 2026 I will be hopefully back in Ankara, teaching human rights theory and law after 9 years✌🏽
The next chapter in life is about to begin for me if an operation comes after that 🙏🏽
