I really loved this.
Great nostalgic summery 90s vibes, even tho I didn't grow up with this record.

Now Listening: Nada Surf - High/Low (1996)
I've listened to the track "Popular" a lot, but decided I wanted to finally check out the whole album.
This rules! Fantastic work!

I much prefer 2 due to it being far more consistent and entertaining with its action schlock.
I've never watched 3 or 4, but I've heard nothing good about them lol.
A bit underwhelming for a first time listen, but I will probably give it another spin to see if it grows on me

Love it!
It's so goddamn fun!
Delightfully trashy and charming!
I actually have to look away whenever that choclate scene happens, god I hate maggots

It's really trashy but I dig it a lot.
While the first two Maiden albums are my favorites, I still gotta say that this is the best song they ever did.

Ended up also rewatching the first Friday the 13th last night with a friend who hadn't watched any of the films, and I think it finally clicked with me.
It's never been a favorite of mine, but my god is it moody and atmospheric. Made me really appreciate it as a humble beginning to an iconic series
Fuckin' Perfection.
