Fascinating! That is a very telling change indeed. Although we did also, while wearing this shirt, chant the following more inward-facing slogan to hype ourselves up before Bible quizzing:

"I am nothing... you are nothing...
God is *every*thing... HOO-AH!"

(The last word was sort of Pacino-esque.)

Does anyone remember seeing this T-shirt in the ‘90s? I owned one as a teenager, as did some of my fellow youth groupers. Well, you want to know the fun fact I learned this week?

At bedtime, I said "I love being your papa" to my 6yo and she said "I love being a kid with you! I have the *best* papa." Those sweet words actually came out of her mouth. I told her right away that she had given me a gift.

My kids *are* a gift. 💞

I guess I figured my first post in 2 weeks should probably be a certifiable banger.

I have the kind of relationship with cereal that I assume Nick Offerman has with Megan Mullally.

(Don't think too much about that.)

This is me backyard camping with my sweet 3yo in 2022. today I take her (6) and her sweet brother (8) on a real camping overnighter! I love the vibes when it's the 3 of us enjoying a day trip, so it'll be even cooler having that last for 2 days. World's End, here we come!

As a kid, I remember riding Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland and thinking, "There's easily enough material here for at least 5 movies, each with a bloated runtime, that would make over 4 billion dollars in combined worldwide box office."

Ha!! I love this, Wendy. It's really good to know that cats are foldable (and this sure does explain a lot).

I can hear my kids playing in the living room and my GOSH are they creative & sweet. They're pretending their "kids" (which are Matchbox cars) are scared of a thunderstorm.

Innocence is the best thing on earth.
And curiosity.
And creativity.

Children have all 3.
