Ivanie Blondin has won silver in the Speed Skating Women's Mass Start event! This is her second medal at the Games, to go with her gold in the Team Pursuit.
The event was introduced at the 2018 and Ivanie won silver in the event in 2022.

Meanwhile, most of the private sector has been back at work for years.

So what makes federal employees so special?

Transit problems? Yes, it’s a mess. But it’s your mess. Fixing it is literally your job and the job of your colleagues.

Before the pandemic, federal public servants went to the office five days a week. No crisis. No collapse. The job got done.

Work-from-home was a temporary solution to an extraordinary situation. It’s not a permanent entitlement, no matter what PSAC and the other unions claim.

Update on Canada Post:

Spoke to customer service last Wednesday night and got the runaround from the call centre rep. Asked for a supervisor. After a 10 minute conversation, he promised to call me back Thursday afternoon with an update. Never happened.

What is going on with Canada Post??

Two packages mailed from Ottawa and one from Stittsville on February 6 still haven’t arrived, and I live in Vanier. That’s local mail. It shouldn’t take two weeks.
