So I went to #Norwescon last weekend and it was a blast. Everyone from the staff to the panelists to the attendees were so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. I met old friends, new friends, and spent more money on books than was wise. I dressed as a fairy princess and danced til my whole body hurt.

Honestly, it's not clear we'll be able to raise $30k in the time remaining before our fundraiser ends, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying. Help keep Locus doing what it does! Help us do MORE not less. Donate!

Claims that “meticulously” tweaking and rerolling the outputs is similar to an artist sketching.

Just saw an author kickstarter with the full gamut of reward tiers: stickers, prints, inserts, etc. All of it ai generated. To her credit, she admits it’s ai, but only briefly and at the very bottom of the page. On her website, she claims it’s ethical usage because her prompts don’t name artists🙄
