Glorious walking here. Far more fun when you’re not doing section attacks, playing Willy the Whistle, or running around lost on a navex…

I chose this dog walk route today for a reason. Behind me, the site of our first ever harbour area in training.

I was deployment Platoon Sergeant; Aaron Lewis was the Platoon Commander.

Last weekend was the anniversary of Aaron’s death in Afghanistan. Today’s walk was my way of remembering him.

Glorious and relaxing weekend back in the Shire. Always nice to get away from it in the Shropshire hills.
