But why would a lawless administration listen to a judge?

Well THAT changes the meaning of "point blank range", doesn't it?
03.11.2025 18:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is a japanese practice sword (bokken) part of their standard gear or are these just nutjob weapons fetishists?
03.11.2025 18:41 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0LOL, Grok sure backpedaled fast. As all AI do, tending to believe every correction offered them like it's the gospel truth.
I'd say AI is sycophantic, but that's too much anthropomorphizing β it's just dumb programming designed to be fluff our egos.
This is the second post Google has recommended on my phone as a top story, from this Xitter account that posts a lot of fake content and incorrect information. Kind of niche example of virality beating truth... but I guess it's just all content now.
03.11.2025 01:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Clicked one of these links. Malware site. Shocked.
30.10.2025 16:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OK, as soon as I posted about that one, which arguably could be a woman eating a donut (yeah right), I am now looking at this ad, which is more difficult to pretend like it's anything but fellatio.
30.10.2025 15:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ummm, YouTube might need to clean up their advertising content.
("Window Cleaning" was not a euphemism I was familiar with.)
The first thing I looked at on Grokipedia is a word-for-word rip-off of Wikipedia.
28.10.2025 21:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Of course, even without AI, every programmer has randomly thrashed about with code hoping to luck upon a fix, with only a vague notion of the problem. Because sometimes it works.
But ultimately there's no substitute for thinking it through. An LLM can't do that. All it can do is thrash about.
And also never forget that the behavior is guided in part by rules and context that is invisible to you. Hence the annoying, fawning apologies.
26.10.2025 06:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Honestly it sounds like you've fallen into the trap of giving more credit to large language models than they deserve.
Never forget that regardless of guiding context, each answer is randomly generated.
Ugh. I said "Brazilian" instead of "Argentinean" purely because it was alliterative. Sorry.
23.10.2025 22:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What a horrible idea. Unless you hate small businesses, and people who live paycheck to paycheck.
23.10.2025 22:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's such a bad idea that one of my first thoughts was to wonder if Russia or China or Iran or someone like that was behind it.
23.10.2025 22:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Note that there are (at least) two versions of this. One has added in red to "Shop Local Non-MAGA".
The more common original says to not go to work, or shop anywhere at all, and to not go to restaurants or events, from 11/25 to 12/2.
People are attributing this to Rosie O'Donnell. Not sure if she's the origin but she has posted this on Instagram yesterday. Although I do see attributions claiming it was her from two days ago also.
This is a terrible idea.
There's some nonsense "mass blackout" thing going around. It doesn't seem to be connected to any organization.
And it seems like an absolutely terrible idea. Doesn't just hurt "mega businesses". It hurts small business. Low income workers. The entire economy.
Who's behind this and why?
And let's not even think about the national security concerns that could be raised (or razed, sorry not sorry) by this new construction.
Every foreign government that hates us is going over the supply chains and construction companies that could be involved in this, looking for an angle.
Remember that time when Trump built an entire hotel in Baku in such a bad location that it was literally unusable?
Remember that other time when Russians conned Trump into thinking they'd build him the world's tallest hotel in Moscow?
Or that other other time when Trump couldn't even build a wall?
He could also sell branding to it they way stadiums are all branded now. "The Saudi LIV Golf East Wing Ballroom" has a nice ring to it.
Though personally I prefer "The Brazilian Bailout Ballroom".
So when do we get the website with Trump selling historic fragments of the White House demolition?
23.10.2025 08:42 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 1Did this successful effort to shut down a Jewish owned business in D.C. help any Palestinians?
No.
Did it make Jews in D.C. and America feel more isolated and worried about their future and even their safety?
Yes.
Stealing and mocking are hallmarks of cultural appropriation. Exchanging recipes with neighbors across millennia is not that.
Calling a shared heritage "cultural appropriation" in order to isolate a minority is just bigotry.
Let's be clear, cultural interchange is not and should not automatically be considered "appropriation". This horrific and non-progressive view of the world is one in which you ultimately find yourself supporting maximal segregation and isolation.
22.10.2025 21:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's also a form of hate speech to claim that Jews "appropriated" Palestinian cuisine, because it rewrites Jews entirely out of the history of the middle east, where they've lived for millennia and both absorbed and exported culture, including cuisine.
22.10.2025 21:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But even if that mattered there's no sign that any of the companies who's products had a negligible drop in exports had anything at all to do with the war effort.
That's part of why Jews will see this as pure bigotry.
In this case, Jews in D.C. now have less kosher places to eat, and these Jewish owners are out of business. Those are the main effects. As for Israel, some negligible percentage of exports are now not being exported.
22.10.2025 21:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So if you want to know if something is a pragmatic boycott, or just bigoted hateful blacklisting, you can look to see what affect it will have, i.e. who it will most affect.
Is it targeted against particular evil-doers? Or is it bad for an entire class of people (who are a minority)?
Righteous boycotting?
Or bigoted blacklisting?
Let's take a look.
