You don't actually have to play the game on mobile to skip the login queue, just start a game on mobile, quit the app, and start up the PBE. You will go right into the game instead of sitting in queue, and after you will just be in the client like normal.

It's mostly random. There's clearly some stats that certain units will not get like mana gen for Kayle, but there also seems to be certain stats that are more likely to be rolled, like AP and attack speed for Kayle. I've had games where I only got those two stats all game.

would instead be spread through all the roles. In pro you regularly see ADC's dueling and toplaners roaming, but in most solo queue games it's extremely rare. I get that some people play their role for one of those situations/fantasies, but you would still experience those regularly in all roles.

I think a lot of this has been reinforced by riot. Imagine if lane swapping and flexible early play was always optimal. Every player would have to learn how to play 1v2, 2v1, and 1v1. The stuff that tends to be "fixed" to each role (1v1 duels top, roaming mids, bot getting dove by JG every wave)

And frankly most players see other roles as an entirely different game. The roles have their differences, but frankly everything you learn in one role can be applied to all the others, and vice versa. But that leaves players entirely unwilling to try other roles.

Absolutely, I remember August saying something similar. It's so much harder to learn league when you only view it through the lens of one role.

I think it's super important for the game's health for people to be truly comfortable on 2+ roles. So many people just shut off their brain when auto filled and try not to die without really caring about the game. If people had to play secondary 30% of the time, they'll learn it.

It's crazy to me to see people get autofill and secondary role around the same amount of times. I don't know if that's still true today but I'd much rather get my secondary role much more often if it means I get auto filled slightly less.

For context I had the airborne assault augment and firelight emblem on kog, I was beating everyone. Even beat the other kog player after he hit 3 star kog and scar with a zeri 2 and firelight + rageblade kog 2. Maybe waiting and saving 100+ gold is the play?

Just did this strat today, unfortunately had firelight +1 so had to play ekko and 5 watchers. Do you think it would have been worth to stay at 7 even though I had all 2 stars? I figured getting ekko 2 + garen 2 was worth it, and it did work out, but I don't think my strat was optimal.

I'm kinda worried about being able to monetize your posts, I think that contributed to what X became. Without ads, I don't think it will be possible to make enough money off of Bsky to be worth trying.

Growing up I was always used to people calling me "they" because I'm a twin, people always referred to us as one thing. I still catch myself thinking of myself as "they". I don't hate it but it's so weird given that "they/them" is used for an entirely different reason for most people who use it.
