23 years ago today the beautifully big chonk #xbox was released in the UK and changed everything for me. Having been a huge #Dreamcast fan the release games (especially #DoA3 and #ProjectGothamRacing) on #Xbox made it a no brainer for me let alone the Little known game #Halo.

Wanna play #StellarBlade but only have a #PS2?? This is not that game but it does have a kinda similar vibe. This is #MahoutsukaiKurohime and what a wonderful game ! Tough at the moment as I need to learn the basics but so far a lot of fun. Deffo a cheeky one though 👍😉😉

What first?

The family went out so currently having a session of the B-Movie gore-fest that is #OnechanbaraBikiniSamuraiSquad on the #Xbox360. A brutal zombie killing game only really marred by an absolutely abysmal camera!! Well worth a shot if you find it cheap enough 👍👍

Blimey!! RE with added oomph and doomph !! Apart from that screechy laugh noise near the beginning I kinda like it!!

#UnderNightInBirthII on the #PS5 is our 2P game of the day today and an absolutely fantastic fighter. Colourful and really nicely animated this feels like a great step ahead of it's prequel

Started playing #Tevi today and if you loved #RabiRibi this is the successor from #CreSpirit . Beautiful in game pixel art and the story screen art is fantastic too. I've not heard hardly anyone mention this game but it's fantastic. Even tiny Bobby Bounce 👍

Today we've cracked out a winter themed favourite on the #Sega #Dreamcast - The often ignored launch game #PenPenTriicelon. Think Fall guys but for up to only 4 players (but local split screen 😉) and you have such me absolutely crazy races across the icy tracks.

Given this will be the first year in many I'll not be playing #ChristmasNights on my #SegaSaturn and inspired by @SEGAGuys and @Gaming_For_Ages pod/tube chat I have the Disc in the CD player instead and I agree @swooper_d with proper speakers this soundtrack is incredible 👍🤘

With the #WinterWonderland DLC added to #AstroBot it got me wondering what other games (Retro mainly) out there have seasonal content?

If you like 2D fighting games a little out of the norm then #DieselLegacyTheBrazenAge is a game for you. Unique in many ways especially the 'almost brawler' track system where you can fight near,mid and far in the stage. Graphically stylish and unique in equal measures. Fantastic

Destiny on #XboxOne (also available on 360, PS3 and PS4) is a fantastic shooter which hasn't aged badly at all. Bought it again as I'm planning a play with friends but it's my son's first experience and he is absolutely loving it. Quality early @bungie.net gunplay and cheap at £1.50 at CeX

Saturday pick ups today are for some possibly a bit meh but following conversation with @Legobeard1 picked up the OG Destiny on 360 for 50p and the full edition on XB1 for £1.50 ! Such a good game too!! Also #DonkeyKongJungleBeat , #RPMTuning and #AngryBirdsStarWars

Following yesterday's sadness today my Black Friday purchase arrived which perked me up!! #Xbox #GhostCipher controller for £43 .... Yes please and OMG it's a beautiful thing!! Definitely going to be using this with the OG Crystal too 🤘🤘 ❤️❤️❤️
