Corrin has had to deal with invaders since she was a kid, and now she’s part of an order whose mission is to fight these creatures. She seems to not care that much about saving lives or protecting the innocent tho, her reasons for fighting are… peculiar, let’s put it this way.

After being severely wounded, Corrin felt a calling. It was coming from an approaching thunderstorm and It was terrifying. It wanted an heir, It wanted a witness, and It asked to be welcomed. Corrin said It’s name, and so she became It’s Wish.

Why? Because she’s the harbinger of the Wish, one of the six forgotten “gods”, the elder consciousnesses.
When she was a kid, two invaders attacked her and her family (ye olde fantasy orphan).

Her story is under intensive maintenance right now but the gist of it is: there are otherworldly creatures (called invaders as a placeholder name for now) that want to use sorcerers as human batteries to heal their home, and Corrin’s magic makes her the equivalent of a nuclear reactor in that sense.
