I get told I shouldn't say I 'hate' it because its offensive to all the effort my mum put into xmas when I was growing up and yes, you are right. Mum did everything, dad never lifted a finger. My brother got awsome presents, I didn't. Its ugh. Its complicated in my head.

Dislike it when I get guilt tripped over Christmas arrangements. I don't enjoy it, I really don't & would prefer to just carry on. I know my nephews want to see me and xmas is still magic to them but all I recall is the stiff awkward xmas dinners between parents that didn't love each other.
