Heavy winter storms flooded Gaza’s tent camps on Friday, collapsing shelters and soaking families already displaced by Israel’s war. Civil Defense reported widespread distress calls across Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, and Nuseirat. The UN says nearly 1.5 million people need emergency shelter, yet Israel continues to block tents, caravans, and other shelter aid in violation of the ceasefire.
