And I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: I think VRC is trying to do the right thing in the right way. However, I think we need more than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Age verification is one of those things that I agree is a good thing but is very hard to implement is a way that is both effective and doesn’t unnecessarily exclude people. I could not have anticipated experiencing this on such a personal level, however.

I'm certainly concerned that once Age Verification is rolled out to the general player-base this is going to become a lot more common. And given the lack of movement on the issue I'm not confident I will have a solution by that time.

While previously a mostly hypothetical scenario, communities have started age-gating. It is now a regular experience where I'm told I need to verify my age in order to join others.

So. This is an update on my situation with VRChat Age Verification. The main bit of news is that this is still an issue for me. I still have no way of verifying my age on the platform. I still don't get past the stage of Persona not recognising my ID as an ID.
