That tower shape building in your 2nd pic, my dad's family used to own the top 2 floors.

You just brought back memories of family get togethers when I was a nipper.

Leith wasn't so genteel then 😁

You could just leave Temu Goebbel's propaganda on twitter and not violate our timelines with it

You really think JD Vance will be better?

Ironically them doing the conversion themselves equates to a tariff on their lack of knowledge.

And like Nero, who spent a lot of his time fiddli g in Anzio instead or Rome, Trump spends a lot of the week golfing on his estates.

I have a theory that these, and things like Mandela Effect 'memories' are proof of multi-universe theory. It's just we slip between them unconciously and habr fragments of core memory from one universe tjat confuse us in another.

I just wrote 'complection' and couldn't for the life of me work out why it was red-lined.

Is it the ME/CFS brainfog, or am I in an alternative reality?

The UK post-Suez, pre-Falklands (someone should be employed to explain this to Vance before Trump succumbs to an unexplained heart condition).

Using 'woke' is shorthand for 'I'm a racist but am to chickenshit and/or stupid to admit it'.

Stage 5: You assume your perception of reality will become true because you are rich enough to affect the outcome of an election.

I love that you're passionate for a process that works for you.

Your method of introducing it to others as something to consider is neither helpful nor convincing.

Offering advice, suggesting a system someone may not have considered can be really useful.

Laying it down as an invioable rule is tone deaf for the following reasons:

1 - there are no rules;
2 - no one appointed you to make rules;
3 - what works for you will not work for everyone.

But, pontificating on a way of doing things as if it is dome holy writ is not helpful.

And understanding that not everyone can do things the way you are able to is a more beneficial way of dealing with things.

Knowing what process works best for you is not creating obstacles.

04.04.2025 15:42 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Not everyone can do this.

For folks who can, all power to your elbow. For folks who can only concentrate on one project at a time, you're process is also fine.

If you haven't already listened to Kobna Holdbrook-Smith's readings of The Rivers of London series, I can heartily recommend.

38 matches in the EPL season.

17 matches in the NFL regular season.

All EPL matches played in the UK.

NFL now plays regular season matches in Europe and Central America.

I like the NFL, but it's wildly over-rated as a regular sporting experience.

Add them to your daily lexicon.
'I'm/you must be bloody chuffed/gutted' (good for sports)

'I fancy a cup of joe. Anyone else?'

'That/they can get straight in the bloody bin.' (Useful for any inconvenience)

'Stalin did it legally

Unlike Trump who is breaking the law to do it'

So you DO agree that this goes beyond the practixe of internal exile.

Let's hope Trump is stopped before the extra-judicial killings of citizens becomes a regular feature of US life.

Except, that's not what the Constitution or legal precedence says

AND removing a persons 1st Amendment right without due process is a violation of their 14th Amendment rights.

I know the US Constitution can be tricky for non-US folks. But you should read it before giving bad opinion.

It's not what Supreme Court precedence say.

And it's not a house, but a nation full of people with different views.
