Loved kicking off staff PD in my district with a digital Breakout EDU game called "The Commute". 🤓🔒🔓
Breakouts are such a fun way to start sessions.
Clues, puzzles, team work, active engagement, educational, and a great way to experience what students experience when they play them in class. #EduSky

We love Makedo and the non-tech STEAM work they're doing that paves the way for design thinking that can be used when students move into using tech tools for their creations. And they do some cool collaborations with tech like Sphero. Thanks for capturing this @mariagalanis.bsky.social!

Makedo, a company founded in Australia. 🌏
Ironically they're not even that techie. 🤓
Love their focus on playful creativity.
Kids create and build with cardboard at school (or home) using the Makedo super cool tools.

This was 31 yrs ago. One of my favorite videos as a reminder how much things will change.
We look at this video now & think wow.
Makes me wonder in another 31 yrs what people will be looking back at from now in the same way. Will it be AI? Blockchain? Something else?
