Thanks to Assemblywoman Gail Pellerin & Councilman George Casey for the invitation to speak at the wildfire town hall last night. I had some nice conversations with their constituents. Just by being there, they showed a desire to move towards greater #wildfireresilience You have to start somewhere!

It’s also important to note that a variety of factors contribute to making wildfires more difficult to control. Climate change is definitely up there, but so are too much fire suppression and colonial elimination (attempted) of cultural fire practices by Indigenous peoples for way too long…
