The Blackwater River, which is a tributary (I think) of the Cheat River in West Virginia. Blackwater Falls State Park was the first I can remember going to as a kid and still a favorite.

I'm rereading A PRIMER FOR POETS AND READERS OF POETRY and it's amazing how much of this feels new again to me, even as it isn't new (beginners mind plus our human frailty of forgetting). Maybe the pleasure of poetry is that you can learn and even excel at it without full mastery. #poetry
