What are the patent concerns associated with OneNote-based digital lab notebooks? I have my students' notebooks in onenote, and I export them to PDF periodically (realistically, the period is however long it takes before I think "I haven't backed them up in a while, I should do that now.")

A friendly email from the student I helped.

On the SEPTA a few weeks back, some high schoolers were puzzling over quantum numbers to prep for an upcoming test. They were stumped on l vs m_l, so I turned around to offer an explanation. It turned into a great conversation! Just tonight, I checked my email to find this:
