maybe i'm wishful because i'm approaching the same age, but artists seem to put out some of their best work in their upper 30s/40s. by that time you really know what you're aiming for. my favorite neko album was from her 40s. vampire weekend just released some of their best work, too.

after listening to two of my favorite redheaded singers' fall album releases, i have to solidly conclude that florence's is far superior in just about every metric, and easily surpasses her last album

it honestly depends on who wants it lol, sometimes it’s fine to just put your max or close to it, but most people bid at the last minute. for me they always end at like 4am and i’m not that hardcore anymore lmao, so i just put my max the night before.

i find cardcaptor sakura an interesting market to follow, because i don’t know of any other series that was both so beloved and iconic and also seemed to have almost every cel out there in the hands of normal people. popular shows generally never had a supply like this.

there was a huge supply back then. i don’t know how it happened but it seemed like every cel ended up on the market, from every episode and both movies. then collectors like me bought them all up and we aren’t selling often lol. every now and then i wonder how much i’d get, but i can’t replace them.

when i first started collecting cels 15 years ago, normal cels were in the $30-100 price range, getting into $500+ only for iconic scenes or opening cels. this is the market now, mostly normal cels going for $300+.

also i hated the “pizza” description even at the time because if you watch someone make it, it’s literally nothing like pizza. it’s flat and you can put toppings on it? what kind of pizza has cabbage as a main ingredient

thinking about okonomiyaki and how in the 00s you’d see people call it “japanese pizza” like lol the japanese already have their own pizza and it’s insane

this doll doesn’t sit as easily as my big luts ones, something about the seat makes it hard for her legs to bend enough and maintain their position. but she’s so cute sitting.

i’m finding that opting for the larger bust has limited what pre-made clothes will fit her lol. this dress mostly fits, but the seams don’t lay entirely right. i’ll have to do custom clothes eventually, but for right now i’m really liking this dress.
