Unfortunately, due to a lack of submissions, I won't be moving forward with publication of the first issue this month. There were several last minute withdrawals before the recent deadline leaving me with not enough to fill the journal. Thank you to everyone who wished to participate. 🩵

Unfortunately no, this is a passion project. There are some great lists online though for finding writing contests that pay. 🩵

You could also consider challenging yourself to use language outside of what's typical for dark stories. Instead of describing things by "shadow" and "moonlight", what could you replace those with? Can your closest ghost exist in a bright room?
